About Me

My name is Michel Al-Haj; I am a business informatics engineer & programmer based in Amman, Jordan. I spend most of my time learning from YouTube videos and creating projects. When I am not working on exciting projects, I enjoy playing football, walking my dog, or watching a mystery genre TV show. Hard work is a core value of mine, and I believe that any challenge can be overcome with enough effort.

I am passionate about technology and problem-solving, and I've spent countless hours perfecting my craft. I specialize in Python and SQL and have built everything with their tooling ecosystem. I've also expanded my knowledge by learning HTML, CSS, and JS.

After graduating with honors from the University of Debrecen, a challenging yet life-changing experience filled with new cultures and self-reliance. I started my professional journey as a documentation officer at a prestigious regional logistics company while developing valuable programs at the same time. Working with Naouri Group (now Naouri Logistics) taught me how to be an asset in a team environment, build strong customer relationships, and the value of being organized.

Now, I am looking forward to a new chapter of my life and new opportunities in data science, data analytics, web development, or any other field that requires databases. I am excited to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for technology and problem-solving.

Attended and participated in daily standup meetings: Drupal standup meetings and Share-point standup meetings.
Practiced in Agile framework and performed Scrum methodology-related tasks.
Participated in daily Robotics processes automation (RPA)update meetings and created workflows based on the meeting.

My skills

Python

I have worked on multiple projects with python including data science and web and desktop apps development i have strong foundation in NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and scikit-learn. and also PYQT5 , also i have created a GUI that utilizes object oriented programming in it.

Django Framework

Built and deployed two successful Django web apps, one is this portfolio website and the other is an IT Assets Management web app. Familiar with views, models, form, urls, and settings files. not forget to mention working with multiple Django extensions such as rich text editor and Crispy Forms

SQL / PL (SQL)

Created multiple apps that uses SQLITE and POSTGRESQL

HTML / CSS

I have a strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development, and familiar with CSS Grid and Flexbox for layout design, also Skilled in implementing CSS frameworks like Tailwind. I have used this skills in the development of two websites.
